little nude collection! and i guess i’ll just give a little update here for y’all on how i’m doing! you can read it or just enjoy the nudes :p so i started physical therapy last week. i’ve done two sessions so far, and i’m currently scheduled for 12. they’ve given me some exercises to do, which will hopefully help, and it seems like we have actually figured out what the problem is! (tho that doesn’t make it easy to fix lol). My left jaw joint has become hyper mobile due to a displaced joint disk, and the right side has become incredibly tight and overworked to try and compensate for the other side. The nerve pain i’ve had is coming from muscles being pinched due to the misplaced disk (we think, this is the part we’re least clear on. my physical therapist said she’s never seen nerve pain like mine 😬). So the current treatment route is to relax the overactive muscles, retrain my jaw movement, and hopefully get my teeth lining up again so the muscles on the left can activate fully and tighten up again. Even tho i’m still in pain, it’s nice to have someone who actually listened to me and seems to know what they’re doing lol every other oral specialist just kept saying “well you must be clenching in your sleep, cuz that’s what usually causes TMJ” and i just KNEW it wasn’t because i had so many unrelated symptoms. One doctor i saw, after seeing me for the second time and having my explain exactly what i told her the first time said “oh, that sounds like nerve pain” and i was like YEAH NO SHIT THATS WHAT I TOLD YOU WEEKS AGO!! okay anyway, so that’s what’s going on with meeeee. I hope y’all are doing well and i miss hanging out with you on stream!! Hopefully i’ll be able to get back to it in the next couple months :) thanks for reading if you got this far, ily

It hurts to speak (or even smile), and progressively gets worse over longer periods of time doing so. My orthodontist said I should avoid causing pain as much as possible to keep inflammation down. I’m going to start physical therapy soon, and I’m hoping that will help. Unfortunately, it has gotten to a point where I think it would be unwise to try and stream. While I might be able to get through a stream with enough painkiller, it would leave me much worse the next day, and directly contradict the instruction of my doctor. Last time I tried, the pain got exhausting, and I almost started crying on stream. Not fun :/ Streaming is something I genuinely enjoy doing, and I’ve loved building a little community with you nerds. But until this is sorted out, I won’t be going live. That could mean a few weeks, or a few months, it’s really too early to say. My other content will continue as usual!!
