Meditation taught me how to listen… even when everything inside is quiet.
⠀
Sometimes I just sit down, close my eyes, and let go of trying to feel anything. No deep thoughts. No “perfect breathing.” Just stillness.
⠀
And then something soft shows up. Like… “I want to lie down.” Or “I want to be held.” Or just… “quiet.” It’s not loud. Not dramatic. It’s more like a whisper — but it’s real.
⠀
Since then, I’ve stopped forcing myself to know everything right away. Now I wait, and I feel instead.
⠀
What happens when you stop thinking and just listen? You might be surprised by what your body says 😈
