I am a FIRM believer that successful people put their health first. Working out can not only decrease stress, but teaches you that you can excel beyond the limitations you've set for yourself. It builds your body and mind into a sharper tool, and knowing and feeling that does wonders for your self-esteem.
 Having a fit body also helps with self esteem, who wouldn’t want to look better? 
Balance is key in working out and in diet. If you restrict your calories of over do it at the gym this can lead to burn out.
